Can one person use a two man auger? 1/30/2012 1:19:00 PM Answer The two man auger is only designed for use by two people because of the weight and sheer power of the unit.  Each of the two users stabilizes the unit during drilling by each holding onto two adjacent handle bars of the four available handle bars.  A single person trying to operate a two man auger WILL result in serious injury.
