With a Viper engine, the screw on the gas cap vent must be open all of the way or the engine will die after getting warm.  Before starting, check the vent on the gas cap and ensure the screw is opened properly.  If the screw is open all the way and you still encounter issues, there may be a crack in the intake windpipe.
