It’s the industry’s first-ever earth auger powerhead designed for both 1- and 2-person operation. The Dually is ideal for everyday use on construction sites or the farm, and is the powerhead of choice for a variety of hole drilling tasks such as building decks, installing fences, soil sampling, mailbox installations, planting trees and many other outdoor projects. It boasts a 52cc, 2-cycle Viper® engine that provides more than enough power to bust through extremely compact soils and clay. A rugged transmission contains long-lasting ball bearings and hardened steel gears that will withstand a lifetime of heavy use. Welded steel Jobsite™ handlebars fully encase the engine, providing superior protection from drops, falls, and everyday abuse. Comfortable foam grips limit vibration and ensure a user-friendly operating experience. Equipped with two independent throttles, an operator can control the engine from either the single or 2-person operating position. Each throttle provides variable speed control, allowing for slow control when starting a hole, and then ramp up to full power as you drill deeper. With a 7/8” smooth shaft earth auger connection point, this unit pairs with any Earthquake 7/8” smooth shaft earth auger bit (sold separately).
